Software to allow non-SNA terminals and communication devices to communicate with SNA applications. Supports Binary Synchronous Communication (BSC) such as IBM 2780/3780 terminals, and start-stop devices such as IBM 2740, 1980 and 2980 terminals.
Software is installed on mainframe systems, and loaded into communication controllers (or front end processors, or FEP) such as the 3725 and 3745. Devices must communicate using the communication controller.
