• Space management - automatic assignment of management classes to SFS files and directories, automatic migration or deletion of data based on management class, automatic recall of migrated data.
• Removable media services - tape library management
• Minidisk management - copy CMS minidisks, evaluate CMS minidisk integrity.
• User interface - ISMF menus to manage files, minidisks, management classes, automatic class selections (ACS) routines. Also includes command interface to removable media services and minidisk management.

Included as an optional feature of z/VM.
